10-Day Chardham Yatra Package Itinerary

Note – Pickup & Drop Locations: Dehradun / Haridwar / Rishikesh

 Day 1: Barkot Arrival and Travel.

Your Char Dham Yatra Package would start with the pickup at Dehradun, Haridwar, or Rishikesh, and the trip would start in the direction of Barkot. Along the route, tourists can do scenic on route sightseeing by making proposed places visit such as Kempty Falls and the breathtaking vistas of Mussoorie. Arriving at Barkot, get accommodated at the hotel, spend the night, and relax there.

Day 2: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot

Day 3: Barkot – Uttarkashi

In your Char Dham Yatra Package, it is followed by a sightseeing trip to Uttarkashi, through Barkot and one has to get there by some scenic drive. On route, check out the holy Vishwanath Temple and the naturally created Prakateshwar Cave which have a strong spiritual value. Arrive at Uttarkashi, and then check in to the hotel, relax, and spend a night.

Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi

In the morning take a picturesque drive to Gangotr one of the chardham yatra place. Arrive at the holy Gangotri Temple and take prayers and seek blessings and then visit the beautiful Harsil Valley and the calm Bhagirathi River. Then, later, move back to Uttarkashi and relax at your hotel. Uttarkashi will serve as the place of stay overnight.

Day 5: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi

Start on your way to Guptkashi with sightseeing of Tehri Dam which is a majestic dam, and a sacred confluence called Rudraprayag en route. On arrival at Guptkashi, take a room in one of the hotels located there and rest. The place of stay will be Guptkashi over night.

Day 6: Guptkashi – Kedarnath

In kedarnath we have 2 options: trekking and helicopter route that is chardham heli yatra:

Option 1: Trekking Route

The next aspect in your Char Dham Yatra Package is to drive to Sonprayag, where you can board a local cab to drive you to the base of the Kedarnath trek, Gaurikund. Start on foot the 16 km walk to the holy town of Kedarnath and have the breathtaking Himalayan view on the way. When there, put up and make ready to pass the night at Kedarnath.

Option 2: Helicopter Route

Begin the day with a drive to the designated helipad for your scheduled helicopter ride to the Kedarnath helipad. From there, take a short trek to reach the sacred Kedarnath Temple for darshan and spiritual experience. The overnight stay will be at Kedarnath.

Day 7: Kedarnath – Guptkashi

In guptkashi  we have 2 options trekking and helicopter route that is  chardham heli yatra:

Option 1: Trekking Route

After offering prayers at Kedarnath, begin the trek back down to Gaurikund. From there, take a local cab to Sonprayag and continue your drive to Guptkashi. On arrival, check in at the hotel for an overnight stay in Guptkashi.

 Option 2: Helicopter Route

Start a day with a drive towards the specific helipad where you will take up your scheduled helicopter ride to the Kedarnath helipad. There, make a slight walk to get the holy Kedarnath Temple to have darshan and a spiritual experience. Kedarnath will be used as an overnight stay.

 Day 8: Guptkashi–Joshimath

Guptkashi-Joshimath drive, which includes sightseeing of the religious towns of Karnaprayag and Nandaprayag on the way. On arrival in Joshimath, put yourself in a hotel and relax. Joshimath will be the place of stay overnight.

 Day 9: Joshimath–Badrinath

Transfer by road to Badrinath and take darshan of this sacred Badrinath Temple. Have fun in the local sites, such as Mana Village which is the first village in India, and the picturesque waterfall called Vasudhara Falls. Go and spend the night in your hotel in Badrinath.

 Day 10: Badrinath—Return Journey

Char Dham Yatra Package Exclusions:

• Any extra sightseeing not mentioned in the itinerary.
• Helicopter booking charges.
• Palki, pony, or horse ride charges.
• Local cab fare. (Sonprayag to Gaurikund – INR 60-80 per person)

Important Notes:

• The vehicle will be available as per the itinerary only.
• As per Uttarakhand government regulations, vehicle movement is allowed from 5 AM to 8 PM in hilly areas.
• Drivers will not be available for more than 8 hours of continuous driving.
• While returning from Kedarnath, passengers must reach the driver’s location at Sonprayag due to heavy rush and traffic congestion.
