Day-wise Schedule:

 

Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station – Transfer to Phuentsholing (146 km, 4 hrs)

Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station, you’ll be greeted by our representative who will assist with your transfer to Phuentsholing. Enjoy the scenic drive through tea gardens and lush landscapes. On arrival, check in at the hotel, and spend the evening relaxing or exploring the local markets at your leisure. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

Day 2: Transfer from Phuentsholing to Thimphu (160 km, 5 hrs approx.)

Following breakfast, there will be a meeting with your guide and driver to finalize the immigration procedures and then we will drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. We can also stop on the way to see the scenic Chukha Dam and take a photo stop at Wankha Waterfalls. After arriving in Thimphu and check in at the hotel and there will be the free time in the evening and overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 3: Thimphu Local Sightseeing

On 3rd day after breakfast, we will go to the National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma Statue, and the Motithang Takin Preserve, where Bhutan’s national animal resides.After we will Proceed to the National Library, Bhutan Textile Museum, and Clock Tower Square. Then we will visit TashichhoDzong, the fortress of the glorious religion, before returning to your hotel and there will be the overnight stay at Thimphu.

Day 4: Transfer from Thimphu to Paro via Punakha Sightseeing (128 km, 6 hrs)
After breakfast on morning, we will drive to Paro, with a sightseeing break at Dochula Pass (3100 m) to enjoy panoramic views of the Eastern Himalayas. Proceed to Punakha and see the stunning architectural wonder, the Punakha Dzong, and the Punakha Suspension Bridge. Later, see the Chimi Lhakhang, Temple of Fertility. Proceed to Paro for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Excursion to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest)

On day 5thafter breakfast, we will drive for 30 minutes to the trek starting point, then begin your hike to the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), perched 900 meters above the Paro Valley. The trek takes approximately 2-3 hours one way. Visit the monastery and explore the breathtaking views of the Paro Valley. Return to the hotel afterward for an overnight stay.

 

Day 6: Transfer from Paro to Phuentsholing (152 km, 4 hrs)

Following breakfast, you wil check out from your hotel and travel back to Phuentsholing. Evenings are free for shopping in Phuentsholing or other leisure activities and then overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

Day 7: Transfer from Phuentsholing to Bagdogra for Departure (146 km, 4 hrs)
After an early breakfast, we will drive to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your departure, carrying sweet and safe travel memories of your Bhutan holiday tour.
