1. Types of Bali (Indonesia) Visas

Indians can apply for the following types of visas depending on their travel purpose:

  • Visa-Free Entry: Indians visiting Bali for up to 30 days for tourism purposes do not need a visa but must have a valid passport and return ticket.
  • Visa on Arrival (VOA): For extended stays beyond 30 days, a VOA can be obtained at Bali’s airports or seaports, allowing a stay of up to 60 days (30 days + extension).
  • Business Visa: For professional visits, valid for 60 days, extendable up to 6 months.
  • Social-Cultural Visa: For social or cultural visits, valid for 60 days and extendable.

2. Visa on Arrival (VOA) Process

  • Required Documents:
    • Passport valid for at least 6 months.
    • Return or onward flight tickets.
    • Hotel bookings or accommodation details.
    • Visa fee: INR 4500.
  • How to Apply:
    Pay the VOA fee at the immigration counter upon arrival in Bali. The visa is granted instantly.

3. COVID-19 Regulations (if applicable)

Ensure compliance with updated health regulations, such as vaccination proof or testing requirements, if applicable.

4. Long-Term Stay Options

For stays longer than 60 days, Indians need to apply for a visa extension or specific visas (business, work, or social-cultural) at the Indonesian Embassy or Consulate.

5. Additional Tips

  • Always carry copies of essential documents for smooth processing.
  • Bali’s VOA is only applicable for tourism purposes.
